This includes the principles, functions, and techniques of descriptive cataloging; the wide range of methods of subject analysis and classification; provision of access for all formats of materials including electronic resources; and the policies and planning leading to the effective use of bibliographic records in modern society."

CONSERline
Publisher:  Library of Congress Serial Record Division.

Frequency:  At least semiannually (January and June).

"CONSERline is a continuation of CONSER (Cooperative Online Serials), a newsletter issued only in paper format. CONSERline is a cooperative effort with contributions from program members consisting of news of the CONSER Program and information of interest to the serials cataloging community."

Indexer, The
Publisher:  Journal of the [British] Society of Indexers, American Society of Indexers, Australian Society of Indexers and Indexing and Abstracting Society of Canada. 

Frequency: Semiannually

The Indexer is a jointly published international journal on indexing. Regular features include indexing current awareness bibliographies, information about index makers, and index reviews.

This international journal focuses on the digital organization, access, and bibliographic control of Internet resources.

An online newsletter of the Cataloging Directorate, Library of Congress contains LOC cataloging activities news.

TennWords
Publisher: Tennessee Regional Group of the American Society of Indexers.

Frequency:  Bi-Monthly.

In TennWords, an online newsletter, Tennessee Regional Group members will find articles, which are geared specifically toward their needs, the Answer Guru (a Q&A column), and tips.
